ATLANTIS on Purdue fan rig
ATLANTIS on Purdue fan rig -- options for member's vote
Subject: Final Poll on Way Forward for Atlantis All, Following up on this discussion, Imperial College acknowledges our interest in the Purdue fan rig analysis. They estimate they can complete a pre-test prediction for flutter with ~3 months of effort, assuming they get the required inputs and there are no unforeseen challenges. There are limited time and resources. So we’d have to give up the analysis of the ECL5 aerodynamically mistuned geometry. Please vote on how you wish to proceed.
- Direct IC to complete a pre-test prediction for the Purdue fan rig and likely forfeit the ECL5 mistuned analysis.
- Allow IC to focus efforts on the ECL rig, get the ECL5 aerodynamically mistuned analysis, and do no Purdue fan rig work.
- Delay direction to IC and continue the debate.
Please provide one vote per company. If you have any trouble with the voting buttons (which probably only work in outlook), please reply with your preference. Last time around, we were looking for unanimous agreement and when we didn’t get it, we had more discussion. This time, we will go with the plurality.
